The original idea behind Zadig & Voltaire was to create a new luxury. The brand is inspired by everything from punk, to architecture and film. Zadig & Voltaire’s childrenswear range was born out of Thierry Gillier's main clothing line, and captures the rock 'n' roll power of the adult range in their urban wear for kids. Each item has an extra touch of impish and youthful flair. The collection is perfect for a kid who has a unique style.

In 1997, Zadig & Voltaire was founded by Thierry Gillier as an upscale line of ready to wear clothing items made using only the most luxurious of fabrics like lace, cashmere, and silk. Delicate luxury fabrics are combined with sturdy metallic leather to make pieces that are unique and durable. These fabrics have become signature materials of the brand's adult line and are now carried over to the children's clothing range.
